In a bid to support retailers and stimulate sales for the coming season, Pod footwear have created their most competitive BTS range to date.
Continuing with their ‘Quality you can trust’ campaign, Pod have divided the 2012 BTS range into two main price brackets to provide retailers with more variation, in terms of price and style options. This active approach has created a platform to enable both supplier and retailer to target a broader range of customers by offering quality products at increasingly competitive prices.
The core Pod back to school range consists of their signature styles which feature wipe-clean scuff and stain resistant leathers uppers, breathable fabric linings and durable flex rubber soles. New features include innovative hologram branding and panelled upper designs. In response to increasing demand from retailers, selected styles now range from an EU size 27 through to 52.
Furthermore, in spite of rising manufacturing and material costs, through direct product sourcing and consistent communication with suppliers and factories, Pod have maintained the same price point as their previous back to school season.
The second back to school range for 2012 features a brand new TPR sole unit. Designed as a move on from the chunky Pod sole, the Stag unit maintains the same durability as the classic Pod sole whilst benefitting from a more lightweight feel and smoother appearance. What’s more, by sourcing new material suppliers and specialised factories, Pod have achieved a recommended retail price point £5 below the core Pod range.
